Magnets FC

Tadcaster Junior Football Club

Tadcaster Junior Football Club offers an all-inclusive, safe and fun environment for all children from the age of 5 up to intermediate u16 level to play and learn about football. The Club is Charter Standard approved and provides FA qualified coaches who volunteer their time to benefit the community and currently holds in excess of 200 playing members.  Training sessions are held throughout the week with games played either on Saturdays or Sundays. New players at any age group are always welcome.

Tadcaster Magnets Football Club

Tadcaster Magnet Football Club is a purely amateur and long established club in the town with open age squads and an U17 group providing natural progression from the towns Junior Football Club. Games are played on the excellently maintained Queens Gardens pitch which also provides modern changing facilities. New players are more than welcome to join and enjoy their part in maintaining local football.

Tadcaster Magnets Cricket Club

Tadcaster Magnets CC currently accommodates two senior weekend cricket teams and a midweek Evening League team, as well as providing great provision in the Junior section offering opportunities for all ages and standards ranging from All Stars through to U15 level.  A flourishing club with both senior and junior team development and success.  New players of all ages always welcome.

Tadcaster Magnets Hockey Club

Established 1904, Tadcaster Magnets Hockey Club are a friendly sociable club who train weekly and play to a high standard every Saturday in the Yorkshire Hockey Association. Currently the Club runs two ladies and one men’s team and are actively developing a junior section. Old and new players are always welcome!

Tadcaster Magnets Bowls Club

Tadcaster Magnet Bowling Club offers superb facilities at the Queens Gardens site and caters for Crown Green Bowlers of all ages and skill levels. From new starters to those with years of experience; from those wanting social bowling to regional representative matches – all are welcome. Over recent years the club has grown from having 5 teams in 4 leagues to 8 teams in 6 leagues, played on afternoons and evenings between late March and early October.

New bowlers are more than welcome with communal bowls and an introduction to Crown Green Bowlers being readily available.

Tadcaster Harriers

Tadcaster Harriers is a friendly and active running club for adults with a current membership of about 150 split equally between men and women. We meet regularly for training and groups for all standards are led by qualified coaches and running leaders. Many of our members also enjoy racing over a variety of distances and we compete in the York 10k Road League as well as many other organised events.

We have regular social events, a charity of the year and beginners groups. New members are always welcome.

Established in 1920, we are a friendly tennis club with 3 courts located on Fairfield Road in Tadcaster. We welcome new members, of any ability and can offer club sessions, coaching, tournaments and league match play.

Tadcaster Cycling Club

Tadcaster Cycling Club is a British Cycling affiliated club established in 2021, we are a friendly cycling club based in Tadcaster, run by the members for the benefit of the membership.  We aim to provide rides for all abilities, welcoming both new and experienced cyclists.

Tadcaster Cycling Clubs meeting point and HQ for all our rides is the Tadcaster Community Sports Trust located at Queens Gardens, Tadcaster, LS24 9HD.
